Trial by Ordeal: NSCDC Officers Risk Imprisonment in Anambra

(Teaser) Months after ASC 1 Patience Ikedigbo, a staff of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC Anambra State Command, was fingered for having manipulated late Mrs. Ebele Ubakanonu to death after a minor misunderstanding, the family of the demise woman said they at the conclusion stage in petitioning the Inspector General of Police where they will pray among other things, to arrest and arraign ASC 1 Patience Ikedigbo and her husband in a court of component jurisdiction for alleged trial by ordeal and if the intention of the said family is anything to go by, it all means that ASC 1 Patience Ikedigbo and her husband may likely spend years in the Nigeria Correctional Center if convicted.

In the like manner, the said ASC 1 Patience Ikedigbo has threatened to drag a veteran journalist (Nweke Nweke) before Iheogwugwu Ukpo’s deadly deity where the couple took the late woman’s name and nailed her to death.
