Anambra Traders Rain Prayers over Ezenwankwo’s Guber Success

History was made in Anambra state when traders converge en mass at Most Holy Trinity Basilica square  Onitsha, Anambra State where they organized an Interdenominational prayer rally for the peaceful conduct of gubernatorial election in the State which comes up on  November 6, 2021, as well sought God’s favor for their former leader, Rt. Hon. Okwudili Christopher Ezenwankwo to be elected as the next governor of Anambra State.

Evangelist Joshua Chukwujekwu who was one of the invited Ministers of God in his sermon which he titled ” There Is God” noted that nothing happens without God’s knowledge, stating that Anambra traders took the right decision to seek the face of God before going into the forthcoming election in the state.

He further cautioned them to never ceases to respect God as well fear Him, reminding them that Kingship only comes from God. He described  Dr. Ezenwankwuo as a humble man, loyal, dedicated, and courageous man, even as he and traders rained prayers on  Dr. Ezenwankwo for his gubernatorial success.

In a paper  tilted ” Reasons why  Traders Must Produce The Next  Goveror Of Anambra State  written by coalition of  Anambra traders which was being circulated at the event, they revealed that traders constitutes over 75% of the voting population of Anambra State.

Also, that every candidate supported by the traders had always emerged the winner in every Governorship election in Anambra State but still traders remain the most neglected group by every government in the state.

According to the traders,” most of the activities of the agents of the government end up with a negative impact on the traders . Trading activities are collaping steadily in the state because the activities of agents appointed by government chased away customers especially from other states. Traders are the most  victims of insecurity both in the loss of lives and valuable properties.

Traders had always risen to the occasion to provide adquate and water-tight security in the  Markets and this be replicated  across the state once a trader becomes the governor. When a trader becomes Governor, he shall correct all the wrongs and do more for it is only a core trader who knows the problems of the traders and could  be easily address it” 

Appreciating the traders, Dr. Ezenwankwo eulogized all the various Market leaders who gathered to pray for him. He said,” haven  served as  the president  general of the Markets. I will serve you better if I become the Governor of this state because, he  who more is given, Much is expected” If to become a Governor could be given to some one by hand, I would be the one because I  have  laboured for ” APGA” party. I  had been qualifing others in the party  but  now, it is my turn to be supported.

I know the terrain of Anambra State and also their challenges. I believe in expansion and continuity. Anambra State remain the savest state in the country excerpt the recent insecurity in the Nation. I thank Mr. Peter Obi and  mostly  Governor Willie Obiano for providing Airport for Ndi Anambra” 

Praying for Dr. Ezenwankwo by the traders, His Eminence, Emma Okaforagu and Evangelist, Joshua Chukwujekwu formed high point of the occasion. (sic)
