South East NUJ Appoints 26-Year-Old Prophet as Spiritual Director

The Leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), South East Zone, has appointed an Onitsha based Prophet, Prophet Ikenna John Ofodile, as the Union Spiritual Director.
Prophet Ofodile, is the General Overseer, City Of Salvation International Ministry (COSIM), Federal Housing Estate 3-3 Onitsha, Anambra State.
According to the Union, the Prophet, who clock 26 this year, will oversees the spiritual welfare of members in the region, in the face of insecurity bedeviling the country, at moment.
The South East Zone, comprises; Anambra, Abia, Enugu, Imo and Ebonyi States.
The Vice President of NUJ (South East Zone), Comrade Emmanuel Ifesinachi, who made the announcement on Sunday night, during the Church annual Thanksgiven Service at the Church hall, (City of Salvation, 3-3 Onitsha), said Prophet Ofodile, was selected by the Zonal Leadership to direct, pray and protect the spiritual welfare of Journalists in the region.
He said the Prophet, will be praying for all the members of the Union in the face of the current security challenges confronting the country.
He described Ofodile as an obedient man of God, who would want to do the will of God, irrespective of what man says.
He said that the Prophet represents humility, and he is a representative of God on earth.
“Through him, so many souls have been saved; through him, so many oppressed persons have been delivered, in fact there are not enough words to describe him.
“He is a great man of God. I have learnt to be humble like him, and he is an epitome of humility, inspite of his status and aged.
Comrade Ifesinachi assure the Prophet of wide publicity of his Church activities before the International communities.
In his brief acceptance speech, Prophet Ofodile, thanked the Union for finding him worthy on the appointment in the midst of other Senior Prophets in Nigeria.
He promised that as an instrument of God, he will continue to pray to God to protect Journalists against gunmen, kidnapping, armed robbering, cultism and other social attacks, not only in South East region but the entire country.
He used the Church Service, to assure Nigerians that the current situation the Nation is going through will be over in the year 2022.
The Prophet was also conferred as the Patron of NUJ South East Zone.
