Shopping for Buhari’s Replacement: Ohuabunwa Storms Benin City

As Nigerians root for the nation’s next president, hits up, a sound presidential material from Igbo extraction, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa has scheduled to visit Benin City, Edo State for further consultations on his ambition.

According to a media statement from the group championing his ambition, the New Nigeria Group (NNG), they said that Mazi Ohuabunwa is scheduled to visit the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) tomorrow(Wednesday, 26th January 2022).

Recall that Ohuabunwa is one of the earliest Nigerians that indicated interest to take over from the seating President Mohammed Buhari on the expiration of his come 2023.
Speaking to journalists, Ohuabunwa explained that he would be having two consultation meetings in Edo State upon his arrival.

“I will be visiting officials of my party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). My presence in the State is to consult with the PDP and other stakeholders over my presidential ambition”, Ohuabunwa explained. 

Earlier in 2021, Ohuabunwa visited Benin City Edo State capital to inaugurate the Edo State Chapter of the New Nigeria Group (NNG), a political group he has established in nearly all the 36 states of Nigeria including the FCT. 
Recall that Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa in September 2021 declared to contest for the position of president in the 2023 elections.

He is the immediate past President of the Nigerian Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria.

Ohuabunwa is also the former Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), founder of Neimeth Pharmaceuticals, and Convener of the New Nigeria Group.
Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa’s major thrust is to birth a new Nigeria that is a first-world nation(Globally competitive)and that works for all citizens.
