A human rights organization, Oppressed Voice International, OVI, has called on the police authorities in Anambra to urgently protect one Azuka Paul Ifeanyichukwu, whose life was under serious threat.
In a letter to the state’s commissioner of police, CP John Bassey Abang, dated 20th November, 2020, and titled: “COMPLAINT OVER CONSTANT THREATS TO ELIMINATE LIFE WITH CULT GROUPS, SELLING OF WEEDS SUSPECTED TO BE CANNABIS, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY AND INTIMIDATION, COMMITTED AGAINST CITIZEN AZUKA PAUL IFEANYICHUKWU BY ONE VINCENT OLISA AZUKA AND HIS COHORTS, A CALL FOR URGENT INVESTIGATION,” the group urged the police commissioner to urgently wade into the matter to avoid any loss of life.

The petition reads in part: “We are members of the above named human rights organization. For the urgency of the above subject matter, Sir, we petition your exalted office on behalf of the man we represent here in order to save the victim from sudden death in the hands of blood sucking demons moving  around in human flesh.

“Sir, it is our brief that citizen Azuka Paul Ifeanyichukwu and one Vincent Olisa Azuka are biological brothers, but that the negative lifestyle of Vincent Olisa Azuka kept all his siblings at a big distance.

“The ordeal of the man we represent dated back to years, when citizen Azuka Paul Ifeanyichukwu challenged his brother, Vincent, to stop using their family compound for the sale of cannabis and other hard drugs. Vincent took offence in the advice, and instead of turning a new leaf, he resorted to threat to the life of our client.

“Vincent Olisa Azuka once attacked citizen Paul Ifeanyichukwu Azuka with dangerous weapons; case that landed both in SARS cell at Neni, but for the intervention of other family members, the Paul decided to forgive Vincent on the ground that he should be of good behaviour.

“Sir, we beg that you use your good office to do justice to this matter by bringing Vincent Olisa Azuka and his criminal gang to book.

“Again, Vincent Olisa Azuka, who refused to listen to any advise, went wild by demolishing the mechanic shop of his his brother, Paul, thereby, turning a serious terror to all members of his family. We hereunder attached photographs of the demolished mechanic workshop of the man we represent, to buttress our claim.
