Okwudili Ezenwankwo Remains Most Grassroot Politician …Legal Luminary

The Honourable member representing the good people of Orumba North/South federal constituency in the nation’s lower chamber, Hon. Okwudili Ezenwankwo has been described as the most grassroots politician who has paid his expected dues, therefore having stood out to be the most qualified among other aspirants jostling to succeed His Excellency, Governor Willie Obiano whose eight years tenure as the first-class citizen of Anambra State is expected to expire on November 6, 2021.

This was made known to Journalists in Onitsha, Anambra State yesterday by Barr. Clifford Iloeguna Okoye while reacting to the clearance of Hon. Ezenwankwo by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) governorship screening committee set up by the party’s National Working Committee, NWC, noting that the clearance of the lawmaker has gone far to prove that every hard work deserves a reward.

Stating that he is not abreast with the laydown rules of the APGA’s governorship screening committee, Mr. Okoye who is the Chairman, Okwudili Ezenwankwo Foundation added that the grassroots nature of Hon. Ezenwankwo gives him an edge above other aspirants both in APGA and all other political parties.

“I am not surprised that my candidate was cleared by the APGA’s governorship screening committee. I least expected nothing short of that for Hon. Ezenwankwo remains the most grassroots politician whose advantage, among others aspiring to take over from the outgoing governor of the State is that he is a home-based politician, living with us here throughout his life in Anambra State as against others who are abroad-based politicians imported to come and aspire for the most prestigious seat of the State.

“How can a person who visits home annually know our problems? How does such occasional homecoming politician(s) know the most remote areas of Anambra State? In our case, the difference is clear for Hon. Okwudili Ezenwankwo was a home-based trader who stayed here since his birth, did his business here before his constituents gave him their mandate to represent them in the House of Representatives. 

‘He started counting his money from One Thousand Naira to Ten Thousand and One Million Naira and so on. So, Hon. Ezenwankwo is a resource manager who is in a better stance to manage the resources of Anambra State appropriately and am convinced that Ndi Anambra knew him and his worth. 

“Within his two years in the National Assembly, his positive impacts are been felt by the businessmen in all nooks and crannies across the country and this is the kind of man we need to come on board and revitalize the frugality of Anambra State, particularly now that the nation’s thrift is dwindling”; Mr. Okoye stated. 

Calling on the APGA delegates to see Hon. Ezenwankwo as an option to the advancement of Anambra State and Ndi-Anambra in particular, the bold speaking attorney said he is sure that the delegates are not going to squander their votes by voting another aspirant during the delegates’ election of APGA billed to hold on June 23rd even as he urged the delegates to elect Hon. Okwudili Ezenwankwo to glide the flag of APGA, boasting that the lawmaker is an exact election substance that will floor other political parties’ candidate come November 6, 2021 governorship election in Anambra constituency
