One-Week-Sit-at Home’s Exponents Destroy Ndigbo Investments –Ohanaeze

Ohanaeze Ndigbo yesterday said that the exponents of One-week-Sit-at-Home are aimed at destroying Ndigbo investments as key actors, they said doesn’t observe it abroad since they’ve no investments in S’East even as the Igbo apex body appealed to NdIgbo to resit it.

In a statement in Abakaliki, the Secretary General of Chidi Ibeh led Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro noted that these proponents of Sit-at-Home are not local investors, entrepreneurs, and Importers stressing that the idea of Sit-at-Home is geared towards the destruction of targeted established investments of corrupt politicians and Elites since they are without any visible investments.

He called for dialogue between internal displaced Igbo politicians and the people especially to end the revolt against the Elites, observing that Igbo’s loyalty to nonstate actors has been abused, as they have pounced on the confidence of Ndigbo through the absurdity of Sit-at-Home, which is conceived to obliterate the established investments in southeast owned by southeastern citizens.

The statement reads “IPOB Sit-at-Home had destroyed the Southeast academic activities, small businesses, and artisans who depend on day by day trade and services to feed their households,” investigations revealed that proponents of Sit-at-Home are envoys, out to destroy the only remaining assets of Ndigbo(Commerce) in the face of external detractors”.

“There is exodus of local and foreign investors out of the southeast in the last two months, creating a high level of unemployment, loss of jobs and disruption of the academic calendar, Ndigbo should end it up henceforth”.

“IPOB leaders don’t have any visible investments in the southeast, they are only using Ndigbo as baits and pawns against the Igbo political class especially on Anambra elections”.

“The consequences of their actions might be detrimental and pernicious to the point where Federal Government will eventually deploy the Super Tuscon Fighter Jets to the southeast in pretense to quell the fallout from the one week Sit-at-Home, Ndigbo should henceforth break from the local siege of exponents of Sit-at-Home without Investments in the southeast”.

“We are aware of the fact that Federal Government had treated South Easterners in bad morality and faith, we can’t afford to resort to paths to self destruction and affiliation with the people who remote Ndigbo from overseas”.

“Proponents of Sit-at-Home are not observing the Sit-at-home abroad where they are residents in Asia, Europe, and America, Ndigbo is wiser than before, No more Sit-at-Home”, We are in support of out of Court settlements that will make Nnamdi Kanu regain his freedom, not through absurd enslavement of the people”.

“Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide had called for a dialogue between internal displaced Igbo politicians and the people especially to end the revolt against the Elites”.
