 Monarch Commissions Layout’s Secretariat Complex

The traditional ruler of Obosi Kingdom in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, His Majesty, Igwe Chidubem Iweka (111) at the weekend, commissioned the multimillionaire Secretariat complex for the Landlord Association, Ugwuagba Obosi.


Commissioning the building, Igwe Iweka described the new edifice as a great thing that ever happened in Ugwuagba Obosi even as the Monarch lauded Chief Sir Akachukwu Anulumadu  led executives for their efforts in completing the Secretariat building.


He stated that Akachukwu and his executives actually through the completion of the edifice showed their total committement to the welfare for the layout.
His words ” Akachukwu and his executives needs to be bestow an award.They have done well for this layout, although God will give them higher award before my own award is bestowed on them. My prayers is that God will bless them and bless whatever they lay hands as their liveli-hood.”


In an address of welcome which was presented at the occasion by the Chairman of the layout, Chief Akachukwu Anulumadu and read by the association’s assistance secretary, Hon. Agbuka Chijioke, they revealed that within three months after the Chairman had taken the oath of office, he became embattled by some members through police from various quaters and several court actions.


“Inspites of all the attacks, the we lived up above the expectations of the opposition by fullfiling all our campaign promises which includes; completing the Secretariat building and street light without imposing any levy on the residents of the layout”, they noted.
Speaking to the press, the Chairman  of the chief servant of the layout, Chief Sir.Akachukwu Anulumadu affaimed that a great thing has happened in Ugwuagba Obosi and in his life, prouded that God used him to perform impossible thing to be possible in Ugwuagba Obosi layout.


He as well added that it was by the grace of God that he was able to complete the  Secretariat hall which  according to him was unable to be completed by his predecessors over the years, promising that he would focus on building of roads in Ugwuagba if he is giving the opportunity to serve a second term.


Other executives who commented at the occasion includes;Mr.Okechukwu Onuoha (Public Relation Officer), Mr.Chukwuma Ikeaka (Chief Welfare Officer) as well as Mr.Bathlomew Okwosa.


Some Landlords who were inagurated as the new Patrons of Landlords Association during the occasion includes; High Chief Hyginus Obiesie, High Chief Thomas Aniagbaoso, Chief Okpalaoke, Chief Sir, Francis Nduka, Chief Jonathan Ezenwankwo and Chief John Ndukaonwu.
