Military Invasion: Imo Indigenes Relocate for Safety

Information reaching 247thirdeye.com newsroom from Imo State has it that the Nigerian Military in Hilux Vans and Armoured Tanks, last Thursday, allegedly besieged Orsu-ihiteukwa and its neighbouring communities including Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
According to an eyewitness, an indigene of the community who preferred to remain anonymous said that the invading soldiers were into two groups, with one approaching the community from Anambra, was spotted around St. Mary Catholic Church, Orsumoghu while another approaching the community from the Imo side was also spotted at Awo-Idemili.
The eyewitness said that villagers upon sighting the soldiers scamper for safety, with business owners abandoning their businesses to avoid being abducted.
Recall that this is the second time the Nigerian Soldiers are said to have Invaded these communities in space of one of the week.
A reliable source informed this platform that a combined team of Nigerian Soldiers and DSS on last Monday Invaded the Orsu-ihiteukwa community which allegedly led to the death of some villagers while a sizeable number of some youths, were allegedly abducted which they were tagged cannibals and kidnappers by the Imo State government.
The villagers’ record unveiled that these communities have experienced over fifteen military invasions in the past year, making some residents of the communities relocate for safety.
Efforts made to reach the spokesman of the 82 Division of the Nigeria Army for comment was not fruitful as the network was not friendly with our mobile phone and that of the Army spokesman.
