 Foodstuffs Market Talks Tough on COVID-19 Protocols’ Compliance

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ose Okwudu Market, Onitsha North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon. Onwueceka Anthony Ezechukwu has officially banned traders customers from doing any business in the market without the compliance of COVID-19 rules 


The Chairman who made this known while  Fielding answers to newsmen in his office, warned that all the traders in market to always observe all COVID-19 protocols as directed by NCDC and Anambra State Government, stressing it that COVID -19 is a deadly virus and does not look at faces .


 Emphasizing that their market leadership would not want the State Government to close up the market as witnessed in some of the markets in the State for flouting COVID-19 protocols, he advised the traders to always do the needful in protecting themselves from contacting the deadly disease.


Chronicling some his achievements since he assumed office, the Ose Okwuodu first trader disclosed that he has put up a working bolehole in market where every shop can fetch water and have a running water, having known that water remain compulsory to every shop in the market.


The chairman expressed his gratitude to the Commissioner for Commence, Trade, Industry and Wealth Creation, Chief Uche Okafor for his love and care for the traders in the state and Ose Okwudu in particular, noting that he is most delighted that the Hon. Commissioner has listing ear as a leader who cares much for his subject and assured him of their total support in all the programs of the State Government.
