Ebonyi APC Guber Candidate Receives Big Knock from Kinsmen

The governorship candidate of All Progressives Alliance, APC in Ebonyi State received an extra big knock from his brothers and sisters from the Igbeagu community, Izzi Local Government Area when Barr. Jerome Elom, and Sct. Emenike Emmanuel Jeff, yesterday (10th February 2023) dropped their brooms and ran into the protection of new hope (Umbrella) of the PDP. 

Emenike, while addressing a momentum and intimidating crowd of the PDP, including the Governorship Candidate of the PDP, Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii at Izzi Council Area of the State, Hon. Ogbonnaya Nwifuru’s kinsmen asked the PDP to forgive and accept them as the Biblical prodigal son.

In their words; “Your Excellence, we the people of the Igbeagu community of Izzi are here in our numbers to ask for your forgiveness and we plead that you accept us back into PDP. We were misled and we have seen the light. We are here to join the rescue team and we believe that through the PDP, Ebonyi State will be rescued”.  They pleaded.

Receiving the lost ‘sheep’ back into the PDP family, the PDP governorship hopeful in Ebonyi State High Chief Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii received and assured them of inclusiveness. 

In his words; “You have made the right choice and for accepting to be part of this mission to rescue and industrialize Ebọnyị state, I will never disappoint you. I will be the governor of the Izzi, Ezza, Ikwo, and every part of Ebonyi State. The hope you seek has come and as your governor, I will make sure you move from consumption to production. I assure you that civil servants will receive their salaries and promotions when due”. Chief Odii vowed.

The highlight of the event was the laying down their brooms cum setting them ablaze while the umbrella was handed over to them by the guber candidate and campaign Director General, Anyi G’Emeya Campaign Organization, Chief Edeze
