Behold APC Hostility over National Election

FROM OUR POLITICAL DESK(LAGOS)

The nation’s ruling All Progressive Congress, APC is said to be hostile in their bid to take over the leadership of the Country, cum and the majority of the State Governments with the latest hostility on Arise TV cameraman who was on Friday chased out of an APC event.

According to sources, the journalist was intimidated and allegedly manhandled before he was disgraced his offense was that he filmed the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.

Speaking on the disgraceful act of the APC Presidential Campaign Council Director in charge of Media and Publicity,  Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the matter in a tweet on Friday.

“Arise, a TV cameraman, clandestinely streamed live Asíwájú Bola Tinubu’s event in Lagos today. He was not authorized by anyone.

“He was clearly on espionage but was busted and sent out. Is journalism by stealth part of the practice by Arise News?” Mr. Onanuga tweeted.

Mr. Onanuga’s justification for sending the journalist, whose name was not mentioned, out of a public event further exposes how hostile a potential Tinubu presidency would be to the Nigerian press.

Before now, Mr. Tinubu and the APC had turned down several invitations by Arise TV and other media houses to discuss his plans for the country with Nigerians.

Similar information reaching our news desk from Ebonyi State accused the state chapter of APC of being hostile to opposition political parties, emphasizing the vandalizing of the posters, and billboards of other candidates that are not of APC.

It was gathered that in all strategic locations in the Salt State, the supporters of the APC never allow any billboards or posters, therefore, having refused to have opposition to the forthcoming election
