Be Focused, Avoid Sycophants; Ex- P.H.E Boss Advices Soludo

Chief Arinze Steve Ben Anyaorah the award winning former Chairman of the Federal Housing Estate Onitsha has admonished the newly elected governor of Anambra State Prof. Charles Soludo to be focused on his developmental policies and stay away from sycophants who will not tell him the truth about situations of things whenever he takes over the mantle of leadership from Gov. Obiano.

Giving this admonition while speaking to newsmen on the emergency of the new Anambra helmsman in his hometown Aguluzigbo Anaocha LGA last Thursday, Anyaorah while commending INEC on their conduct during the election and congratulating Prof. Soludo for his well deserved victory,, noted that what the state needs mostly at this time is a governor that will immediately hit the ground running on positive development of the entire state to surpass the achievements of the outgoing governor Willie Obiano on every sector in the state.

While saying that there is an urgent need to consolidate on the achievements of the outgoing governor as well as initiate new development strides to develop the state further, he appeal to the governor elect Prof. Soludo to look into the area of multiple and illegal revenue collections by touts in every markets and roads in the state using all manners of crude method to extort innocent citizens, declare a state of emergency on construction of townships, community roads etc especially the much abandoned Onitsha – 3-3 – Nsugbe road which has caused a lot of hardships to commuters in the area, improve on security, education, employment generation and youths empowerment etc.

Said he, “From the pedigree of Prof. Soludo I have no doubt in my mind that he has the capacity to deliver, my advice to him is for him to be focus and stay away from praise singers, let him declare a state of emergency in all the township and community roads in the state, put up a well knit security, ban all manners of illegal revenue collection by touts who are constituting a nuisance to the government, prioritizes construction of roads especially Onitsha – 3-3 – Nsugbe expressway which led to the newly built Anambra Airport etc”. (sic)
