Anambra APC Primaries: Governor Dapo Abiodun Drags His Image to the Mud

Dapo Abiodun who claims to be the Governor of Ogun State has dragged his image to the mud and today bagged the most shameless man of the Year 2021 award by throwing his character and integrity into the waste bin of the political history of the nation as he doesn’t even respect his own spoken words.

He came into Anambra State as the Chairman of Anambra State APC Primary Election Committee alongside one John Enoh as secretary with five other dishonorable persons as members. During the late hours stakeholders meeting at Hilton Leisure Hotel, Awka on Friday, June 25,2021, the man from Ogun state swore to conduct a free and fair primary elections in the presence of everyone including the leader of the party, Dr. Chris Ngige.

By morning of the primary, June 26,2021, hundreds of party members began to mobilise at each ward. Accreditation for the direct primary was to begin by 10am till 12 noon and the main voting begin from 2pm to 4pm. Till this moment not a single person or materials turned up at any of the 326 wards for the election. People waited till 6pm and began to disperse.

Do you know what? The man from Ogun and the members of his dishonorable committee hid under the covers of Golden Tulip and arbitrarily awarded scores to each aspirants and announced one Andy Ubah who hates to participate in any democratic process but wishes to benefit from it as the winner.

No journalist was allowed to cover the APC primary.

I repeat, primary didn’t hold in any of the 326 wards in Anambra. They didn’t even conduct the election by 10% and rig 90%. They wrote the result by 100%. Emeka Trice Obi
