Daddy Hezekiah N16B Fraud Allegation: Police Carpets Courts’ Order; Incarcerates Innocent Man for over 1 Month

Under the alleged instruction of the Inspector General of the Nigeria Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, an innocent man (Dr. Duru Chinenye Hezekiah) have been denied his fundamental rights of personal liberty of bail despite several orders from the Courts of competent jurisdictions.

Noticed that accusations against his spiritual father of being a randy cleric cum anti-Christ seemed real and had went viral on social media, adding to the alleged reactions of the cleric when confronted, Dr. Duru Chinenye Hezekiah was shocked that what the girls alleged against his father in the heavenly race was a fact too difficult for a true Christian and believer to condone,  Dr. Duru Chinenye Hezekiah left the Church as he could not sincerely pretend that evil is good.

Having known the lifestyle of Daddy Hezekiah, Dr. Duru as Daddy Hezekiah’s Accounts Officer, consequently requested an account reconciliation meeting with the General Overseer, which Most Rev. Dr. Hezekiah allegedly turned down but rather insisted he must ensure that Dr. Duru Chinenye Hezekiah lost his job in the banking industry hence he petitioned the bank and his petitions led to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC storm into the matter for full scale investigation.

But in order to silence his Accounts Officer, Daddy Hezekiah having suspected Dr. Duru was the one who disclosed what he has been doing in the closed doors, went after his Accounts Officer with frivlious petitions and when he discovered that his petition holds no weights in the banking industry and in the EFCC, he (Most Rev. Dr. Daddy Hezekiah), following the fact that the bank insisted in following due process and the rule of law to dispassionately investigate his petitions, Most Rev. Dr. Daddy Hezekiah allegedly hired a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG (names withheld) to help him use the instrumentality of the Nigerian police to undermine Dr. Duru by ordering the police to detain and torture him without bail or charging him to court and he has been illegally and unlawfully held in detention since the 11th of December,2024 till the time of filing this report. 

Close allias to Most Rev. Dr. Daddy Hezekiah confided on newsmen that both the cleric and his people had boasted that they would spend huge sums of money to ensure that the police held Duru in solitary confinement to spend the Christmas and New Year celebrations in police detention facilities which happened as the police refused all legal efforts to ensure that Duru was released despite orders from both Magistrate and Federal High Courts.

Some members of the Living Christ Mission who spoke to newsmen under the condition of anonymous wondered why President Tinubu’s administration promised to Nigerians and the world on obey Court orders is being frustrated by some officers of the Nigerian police against the ethos of the current IGP by disobeying three court orders to grant Dr. Duru  Chinenye Hezekiah bail or produce him in court, the action, according to our sources stands as a flagrant disobedience of orders of competent courts of the land, thereby sending wrong signals to the international community that Nigeria is a lawless country.

The spurious claim of N16B allegedly stolen by the reputable banker and Human Rights advocate (Dr. Duru Chinenye Hezekiah) is not just a joke, but an allegation made in bad faith to damage his reputation for leaving their Church as nothing of the allegations levelled against him exists anywhere as their businesses, it was gathered were done and some of them are yet to receive payments and not until parties have a reconciliation of accounts meeting can someone factually say this is the state of the account.

Another issue that cadged Dr. Duru Chinenye Hezekiah in the police galug was that he kicked against the politicization of the Church by the General Oversser who even allegedly suspended members of Living Christ Mission who voted for APC in the last election.

Our investigation on the human rights abuse currently meted to Dr. Duru Chinenye Hezekiah by the Nigeria Police, in connivance with both the cleric and some members on the Living Christ Mission against the amount of money in context were verbal and not written as all members of the Church looks up to Daddy Hezekiah as God’s representative on earth and whatever he says or directs is law directly from God and no one insisted on him putting any instructions in writing.
