A chieftain of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka (Ogilisi Igbo) has hailed the governor-elect of Anambra State Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on the successful inauguration of the 80 member transition committee led by former Minister of Education Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, describing the inauguration held at Golden Tulip Hotel Agulu as “a great begging” for the incoming administration in Anambra State.

.
Speaking on the expectations from the incoming administration in Anambra under the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) following the inauguration of the Ezekwesili led committee, Chief Ezeonwuka said he has no doubt that Soludo is not just capable to give governance but also well prepared to do so by fulfilling his promises, noting that the indications are there that the good people of Anambra will witness unprecedented turn around under the incoming administration.

The Ogilisi Igbo told the incoming governor that his promise of a transparent leadership is very important and interesting and thus, he has to ensure that his administration is embedded in transparency and accountability to Ndi Anambra State.

The APGA chieftain who is a Board of Trustee (BoT) member of the party noted that enacting a transparent process in appointing people into government positions as Soludo has indicated will pave the way for credibility and merit to thrive in government.

He also urged the incoming administration to give room for the people mostly the youth to exhibit their talents for government to harness into business, sports, science, and technology as according to him, giving such room will pave the way for people like Bill Gate, Usain Bolt, Mary Onyeali Omagbemi, Innocent Chukwuma, Jay Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu among others who achieved giant feats without parading bogus certificates to invest in the youths of Anambra.

The APGA BoT member observed that talents are wasted in business, sports, science, and technology because the education system and the government at all levels don’t have the means of talent discovery and promotion.

Chief Ezeonwuka who is the Proprietor/CEO of Rojenny Games Village Oba, also urged the incoming governor to start the talent discovery in the Okpoko community where he has planned to kick start work as governor noting that Okpoko as a densely populated community has a good number of youth who might be gifted in sports and other fields.

“According to His Excellency, the incoming governor of Anambra State, he is going to kick start his assignment as governor at Okpoko, so I would like him to look at the youth in Okpoko and from there to other communities across the State” he added.

The Rojenny CEO said that he is offering Rojenny activities aimed at transforming the youth into world champions in business, sports, science, and technology. He said “the time to harness talents and not parading bogus certificates is now.

“The youth have to be encouraged to bring up inventions out of God-given gifts and talents. Those who are parading certificates should keep their certificates inside their box and lets us hunt and harness talents that will move Anambra State to Nigeria and the world”
