Anambra 2021: Ex.Gov. Obi Tags Willie Obiano Drunkard

The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) governorship candidate for Anambra 2021, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo’s local government’s tour yesterday (23/09/2021) took him to Idemili North/South and Dunukofia with the former governor of the State, Mr. Peter regretting that the outgoing Governor Wille Obiano has left the State’s infrastructure in a decay situation.

Speaking at Ojoto market square where the Idemili South electorate hosted Valentine Ozigbo, Mr. Peter Obi said instead of Governor Willie Obiano consolidating what he met on the ground, the governor desired to focus more on taking alcohol than tacking what would benefit the people of the State.

“I was the one who built mili John road here in Ojoto, I built many of the federal roads in Anambra State. Chris Ngigi built some of the federal roads and during my reign, I consolidated a good job of Chis Ngigi, and instead of Governor Obiano to emulate the good done by his predecessors, he turns his eyes away from what he was elected to do.

“I am here to introduce a man who is going to restore people’s confidence in governance, a man who is going to tackle all the problems on our roads just as I did when I was your governor. I am introducing a man who is not a drunkard nor has a swimming pool as a hubby but a man that has done well throughout his life and more importantly, Valentine Ozigbo never had a dent in his venture”;  Mr. Peter said.

Addressing the intimidated crowd at Dunukofia and Nkpor respectively who gathered to welcome Valentine Ozigbo, the PDP candidate said he is not in the governorship race to make gains but to give back to society what God has given him. He said he has an overall age advantage over other candidates running the race for the governorship position.

“Ask those coming to campaign for the governorship position their pedigree. Check if you can access him if he becomes your governor or is he going to be an unaccessible governor. Check their religious background and other quality that qualify someone to be a governor.

It was a glamour visit for the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate as their supporters trooped out in their large numbers and welcomed both PDP and Valentine Ozigbo in the three local government areas they visited.
